This conference will bring together mathematicians working in various areas of algebraic and geometric topology and will feature speakers who are leaders in their fields. In the process, it will celebrate the 60th birthday of Tom Goodwillie and his mathematical influence. Among several subjects featured are: algebraic K-theory and its interplay with manifold theory, homotopy theory, and the calculus of functors. We anticipate having two or three plenary lectures as well as contributed talks on each day of this five-day event. We also want to leave enough free time between talks to create opportunities for discussion and collaboration. The organizers encourage graduate students and early career mathematicians to attend the conference.
