The international conference is dedicated to the role of the academic community in promoting peace. The key question is how scientists can contribute to ensuring peace, dialogue and coexistence at local, regional and international levels. The conference opens a space for discussion between different academic disciplines from the humanities to the natural and social sciences. At the same time, the conference questions the most effective methods of how they can contribute to peace.
This international conference is a forum for the presentations, panels and discussion of new research in peace studies. In addition to the classic academic panels, the conference will hold a series of practical workshops to further encourage dialogue between scientists and practitioners, who advocate peace through practical fieldwork in (post) war regions. Practitioners will share their experiences of working in international organizations, the (non) governmental sector, religious organizations and the media. All papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, and the best scientific papers will be published in an internationally recognized academic journal.
