Conference
description:
Contemporary study of mind, cognition, and action is dominantly consciousness- and thought-centered. However, substantial evidence has been gathered in the recent times, both in the domain of empirical and theoretical research, that speak in favor of a view that recognizes the importance and impact of the processes below the threshold of consciousness and apart from deliberation. The conference aims to discuss and explore the nature and forms of manifestation of the nonconscious from a multidisciplinary perspective, primarily taking into account neuroscientific, philosophical, psychological, and cognitivist/computationalist views.
