Course description:
_____The main aim of thje course is the promotion od healthy lifestyle and prevention of stroke. Guidelines concerning c hanging of lifestyle to a healthier one will be discussed. Evatluation of current diagnostic and treatment possiblities will be presented. Participants will analyse leading stroke risk factors in their countries and discuss possible differencies in stroke risk factors incidence in their countries. Recommendations for stroke diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation will also be presented.__________________________________

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AND PREVENTION OF STROKE
DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

Primary objective of the course is to encourage cooperation and to promote exchange of knowledge between participants from different countries. The course is a meeting of respected scientists that work with stroke presenting and discussing all major aspects of stroke risk factors, as well as new insights in epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke. Probably the major feature of the course is enabling exchange of experience among experts and comparison of stroke data from various countries. Also, the course allows knowledge transfer between respected scientists from western countries and colleagues from central and east European countries working with stroke. Participants are kindly asked to arrange their travel to and accommodation in Dubrovnik. Our local organizers in Dubrovnik will be happy to help you.
