Course description:

The international summer course 'Crime Prevention through Criminal Law & Security Studies' will contain expert lectures (postgraduate level) on current topics from the field of crime research, such as corruption, organised crime, war crimes and terrorism, as well as crime prevention. Based on the respective lectures given, the cours will furthermore focus on 'learning by doing' approach, by fostering participant work in small groups, and on cases where the newly gained knowledge should be applied. The cours will take a multidisciplinary approach towards the various topics - from legal sciences and practices, security studies and criminology.
