This course will exsplore the history and current trends for a philosophical and scientific foundation of spiritualy. Spirituality in broad terms is defined as the possibility of a di9alogue between human beings and the natural world. Our discourse will include exsploring spiritual foundations and practices in the various academic fieds and professions such as sociology, social work, psychology, biology, veterinary science, chemistry, physics, and others. Our special focus will be on a naturalistic foundation of compassion and community.
