A three-day interdisciplinary conference on the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes, widely recognized as one of the canonical thinkers of the Western tradition whose writings shaped political modernity. The conference is organised jointly by three scholars from Germany and Croatia under the aegis of the European Hobbes Society. For the third time, this EHS event will bring together some of the leading intellectual historians, political philosophers, and political scientists working on Thomas Hobbes from Europe and US, providing them with an opportunity to present and discuss their research before an audience of specialists.
