Conference directors:
Iris Goldner Lang, University of Zagreb, Croatia
Conference description:

“European Union Law and Risk Regulation” conference aims to further the exchange and creation of new knowledge and ideas on EU risk regulation. The EU law has taken a central role in regulating and minimizing risks across different policy domains. EU-level risk regulation has led to the adoption of harmonized rules and the creation of relevant institutions at the EU and Member States’ level. This proposal aims to contribute to and advance current research and teaching of risk regulation in the EU. The lectures, presentations and discussions taking place at the 13th Dubrovnik session will rely on the disciplines other than the legal one – primarily natural sciences, politcal science and economics – and will, therefore, be performed in an interdisciplinary manner, but within the legal context.

*Conference offers 4 ECTS to students and the requirement is regular attendance
