Course description:

25 years after the Srebrenica genocide, the important questions have to be addressed. What do we know and what do we not know about the genocide in Srebrenica? Are the victims satisfied with the measure of justice achieved? Why there were no genocide convictions for the genocide in BiH from 1992 to 1995? This course offers an opportunity to discuss these and many other important issues about genocide. In the combination of classical ex catedra lecturing, the participants shall be exposed to educational tools in the form of mock trial practice, simulations workshops, evidence gathering and interpreting and memorialisation of the traumatic past.

The leading academics and practitioners in the filed of Transitional Justice, International Criminal Law, Human rights, History and International Relations shall engage with participants in a variety of lectures and workshops.

DUE TO CORONA VIRUS THE COURSE IS HELD ONLINE. Lectures can be found on the course web page.
