IUC Director General with the Mayor of Dubrovnik

The Mayor of Dubrovnik, Mr. Mato Franković received IUC Director General, Prof. Ivan Šimonović on Monday, 8 May 2023. They discussed about current and future cooperation between IUC and the City of Dubrovnik. Professor Šimonović on this occasion presented ideas on the further development of the Centre and also presented a conference that gathered current and former Special Advisers on the Responsibility to Protect to the UN Secretary-General  in Dubrovnik last weekend. Meeting with Mayor Frankovic was also attended by George William Okoth-Obbo, current Special Adviser on the Responsibility to Protect to the UN Secretary-General, who was also a participant in the IUC conference.
On this occasion, the significant role of the Inter-University Centre during the War for Independence was once again highlighted, when its members spread the truth about what is happening in Dubrovnik and Croatia through their contacts all over the world.
Nada Bruer Ljubišić, IUC Executive Secretary,  Ivana Brnin, Head of Mayor's office and Zrinka Raguž, Head of the Administrative Department for EU Funds, Regional and International Cooperation at City of Dubrovnik also attended the meeting.
